I have a legal question ....If I am buying a Propety from vendor at market value or greater but also made a donation to a charity of the vendors choice are there any legal / taxation issues?

The section 32 disclosure statement has contractual conditions that weren't incorporated in the contract note I signed. Am I bound to the section 32 statement?

My partner and I purchased an investment property.She no longer works and therefore she recieves no tax benefits .Can she legally transfer her share in the property to me and incur no costs to do so.I am at present paying all costs but only recieve half of the tax benefits...??????

I am from a not-for-profit industry peak body.

I am looking for legislation/etc (if such exists) which prevents Commonwealth and State Governments from discriminating between private sector and not-for-profit entities from receiving government funding for doing exactly the same thing or achieving the same outcome.

Can anybody help?

I recently hired a holiday house in melbourne and paid 600 bond.i have just recived email saying tv is brocken and have lost my bond. We had no issue with the tv while there and it was an old plasma tv (not worth much) after few emails they happy to refund 300 dollars back to me. I dont think its right as it worked fine. How do i go about getting my whole bond back please need help urgently as have young family and realy need my money back?

Hello, My mother has an equity loan through ING ($40k approx) against her house in Oakleigh that she inhereted from her mother. She is now wanting to sell that house and move closer to me in Werribee.With the idea of buying a house for her to live in and possibly a house to provide a rental income for her. What is the best way to proceed allowing us to get her house on the market to sell but also be able to put offers in for properties we are finding now that would be suitable.??

Wife and I seperated 2yrs trying to negotiate a settlement.
We had a joint account in both names that she froze. The funds have been released by a cheque issued in both names, I asked it to be sent direct to the solicitor acting on both our behalf, but they said they could only send it to the account holder.
My wife received the cheque and has cashed it into her personal acc, she now tells me she has spent the money.
Was it legal to cash a cheque issued in both names? I think not.. Thanks

Hi I have received contract of sale and vendors statement on a townhouse I'm looking at purchasing, and just have a question regarding Owners Corp. On the vendors statement it reads

"6. Owners corperation. This section 6 only applies if the land is affected by an owners corporation within the meaning of the Owners Corporation Act 2006.
Not applicable"

Does this mean there is no owners corporation?

My partner of 12 years and I are separating. He’s always controlled his income and I've worked and paid the household bills and taken care of our child. He also refinanced the loans in his name and bought a car without consulting me.

He has always told me he was paying above the minimum loan payments but hasn't been and now the property is worth less than we owe.

I have no idea where something like $200,000 has gone over the past 6 years. What do I do? What can I do without going bankrupt?

We are in the process of early discussions with potential investors to grow our business and want to get some advice on shareholders agreement. It is a family owned business and want to know if we should have a shareholders agreement in place before any investors come on board or should we wait until we agree to terms?

Hi what is the best most cost effective way to remove a person from a mortgage? Currently joint tenants but wish to pay out ex an agreed amount and hold onto the property? I understand there is stamp duty payable to completely remove them from the mortgage
