What would be more likely to be accepted by the bank for a land & house package loan.
My credit history is good with no defaults, just credit inquiries. Also I have a personal loan where I owe the bank $25000 and making my $880 monthly payment on time.
I am looking to get a home loan for $400000 from the bank and have got $40000 in savings.But I don't know if I should pay off my personal loan first then I have less deposit or I could get the home loan without paying my personal loan.plz help?

I am a discharged bankrupt and my wife is here on a spouse visa. Despite being advised otherwise we are still having trouble getting finance for a car that my wife needs to get to work. What are our options?

My husband and I recently had a business which only lasted 18 months (wrong timing). We have poured alot of money into this business and find it hard to believe we will not receive anything back tax wise. We are not really sure how this works. Can somebody please explain this to me like i'm a 2 year old. Is he able to claim anything back through his personal tax?

Hi There, We are selling retail bicycle accessories and can source products cheaper from online retailers overseas than our trade accounts. Can I legally resell these products if I use a dropshipping concept of placing my clients names on the receipt? I am under the impression this would cover the client for warranty if the part was to break, Is there any other issues using international online retail suppliers instead of having trade accounts with Australian distributor. Thanks

What is the primary measure used for asset valuation (is it historic cost convention ?) on the statement of financial position ?
Also, what are the two exceptions to the usual method of asset valuation on the statement of financial position ?

I bought a car under finance with registration and insurance.
Gave it too my daughter under the arrangement that she will pay fortnightly installment,she changed the registration into her name and no longer pay instalments

Because the finance company has got the loan under make/model/registration of that car,have I got rights too repossess the vehicle?

Hi, I am 60 years of age and was thinking of semi retiring, have 400,000 in super. My wife is still working and has about 200,000 in super. Not sure if should pull all of mine out and put in bank or agree to receive say 10% per year. New rules mean i pay 15% tax on money earned in super. What is the best way of managing my money today?

I am expecting to receive $500,000 from TPD due to illness
I also have $300,000 in Super
I am only 54yrs and my preservation age is 58yrs
My question is how to minimise the tax on the 500k
Do I transfer to super (concerned with the contributions Cap or only make a partial withdrawal

I am the tenant on the lease. I sub-let the room to a housemate privately. I stupidly do not have her sign anything. She gave me Bond (4weeks rent) and 2 weeks in advance when she first moved in. 6 months later- She tells me she is moving out the week before rent is due (with only 1 weeks notice of her move out date)
She moves out July 8th. Rent was due July 3rd. She did not pay. This means she was Not covered by rent from the 3rd to the 8th of her living at the house. Can you help me!?

We live and operate our business on 100 acres in the Hunter Valley. We’ve been with the same bank for many years but they keep raising the rates and we would like to ask if we go to refinance will other lenders look at our security or is it just the big banks?

We have a house in Nz which was originally our primary home. We moved to Australia in 2008 and have rented it. We have declared it with Aus tax. We then brought in Perth 5 yr ago in which we live in now. If we are to sell how much capital gains would we have to pay? And if we were to move back to that house in Nz how long do we need to live in it to make it our primary home again .
