Our credit history isn’t good because of a struggling business but all debts have been cleared. I have had a full time job for 2 and half years and my wife for 18 months and we want to see if we can buy a new home. Will our credit history stop us from getting a loan, what deposit will we need as we have around $60,000?

My husband had a motorbike accident & he got TPD & IPP insurance payouts out of 3 of his supers. He has 12.
Going forward we need to roll remainding supers into one account.
But need to find someone who can find us a new superannuation provider who will cover him incase of anything in the future (he is only 38) and won't wipe him because he has had previous claims?
Please help!

I have started a handymen buisness I am purchasing a vechile can I claim 100% of the gst back if I register for gst and Can i claim 100% of the value over a period of time for depreciation . The car will be used for both personal and buisness ?

Hi,
I am over 55 and am planning on withdrawing my uk pension pot, value approx £20,000, and bringing into Australia. I would like to keep half in cash and pay the other half into my Super. The pension has grow by about £8,000 since we became residents. My question is -will I pay any extra tax other than the 15% concessional tax if I pay £10, 000 into my super as a personal contribution ? Am I correct in thinking that the £12,000 value before coming to Australia will be tax free? Thanks, Karen

We receive full age pension, and have been offered 3 month contract at $1000 each per fortnight. I realise we will have to declare this amount to Centrelink, but am unsure as to what happens with tax, should we get an ABN?

I am 54 years old and will be leaving the workforce due to an auto immune illness. I have been cleaned out by the ANTI Family court twice so only have approx. $200K in super left. No longer own a house but do have some land. Can I access my super early due to early retirement? And what are the taxation implications? Thanks.

Have just finished creating my own website to start selling android boxes to turn your tv into a smart tv. I need some advice on setting up a business account and best way to go about it all as I already have a full time job and want to make sure I'm doing everything by the book tax wise. Hi I'm buying a small business and it's lets say $ 130.000. I have a mortgage of $270.000 (house value is $540.000. I have savings of $200.000..What is best to do with my savings ? put it on the mortgage, or buy the business.. Or invest elsewhere..

Hi, our home was valued at 660k 18 months ago and we have a home loan for around 476k. For various reasons (no credit issues) the credit card balance is now 18k and we want to know if it is possible to increase the home loan to pay off the credit cards. We both work and earn about 132k combined and have no other debts, is this possible?

Hi, my Dad wants me to be a trustee and beneficiary for a property he wants to buy in Tasmania and live in it. I get no benefit from the transaction. No rental income...nothing. What am I obligated to do if I do go ahead with this? I would have to declare this on my tax but if I'm not receiving rental income, what's the benefit? What am I also liable for if anything goes wrong? Thanks
