Q: i got pulled over and was told my vehicle was unregistered, they took my plates and gave me a $250 unregistered vehicle fine and $100 return plate failure fine. The vehicle was being transferred to my name from my father in laws and he was paying the transfer fee. Meanwhile i pay the new registration, it gets bounced back a week later with no explanation. I never recieved a '14 day overdue notice' or a letter to advise the car was unlicensed. Do i have a chance to take this to court?
