Do all insurance companies charge more for auto insurance because I'm under 30 or do I need to shop around?

Hi Camille,

Great question.

Insurance will differ from company to company depending on the included benefits such as terminal illness support option, funeral benefit among other features.

Auto insurance tend to be very basic and do not require medicals or a full application form before applying for cover which can be a problem when it comes to claim time as you will need to provide full medical records and there may be a chance you are not covered for something you thought you were.

It is best to compare providers and understand what features and benefits come with each and what is most appropriate for you.

If you would like to chat about this further and discuss your options- Please don't hesitate to contact me on the below details.

Hi Camille,

All Insurers will factor in you being under 30, however being a female helps your cause.

You definitely need to look around - Compare the Market is a great web site to help you with this.

Just be warned - the cheapest policy isn't always the best cover. Always check the product offering before purchasing insurance.

Good luck
