Mortgage Broker Bernard Desmond wins top awards

Loan Market’s Bernard Desmond has taken out two of the top awards at the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) Excellence Awards in Victoria, taking home both the Young Professional Award and the Newcomer Award.

Mr. Desmond was recognised for his excellence in broking despite having only joined the industry in April 2017.

Mr. Desmond is the Director of Loan Market Franchise, Feedback Finance in Melbourne, although his work sees him writing loans from as far apart as Geelong and Phillip Island. Operating a fully mobile mortgage broking business allows Mr Desmond to bring his excellent service to his clients, which has helped him build a loyal base of customers.

“I’m proud that I help people, on a daily basis, realise one of the most basic yet most satisfying needs that exist in our modern society – purchasing their first home,” said Mr Desmond.

“I’m aiming to build a tribe of customers who are fans of my business, by focusing on the relationship, not the transaction.”
