Hi.
I quit my job last october for a fulltime photography job.
I was told it was fulltime and i would start off on probation. (which is fine)
Im still at this job and He pays cash straight into my account every week. I dont get payslips and im pretty sure i dont pay tax or super. I keep asking to go on the books but he just says " for now your bieng paid cash to your account" i dont want the financial year to come around and get told i owe money! What do i do? Im so worried.

Hi Shannon,
This is a really common problem and can be very hard to manage. It is quite possible that he isn't paying tax, super or workcover for you and the most common response is "I can't afford to pay all that extra money". For your long term well-being and security, I would suggest you need to find a better employer who is transparent and compliant with all regulations.
Perhaps approach the subject by saying, "I'm going for a car loan and I need to provide my last 2 payslips to the bank, can you please print them out for me?" His response to this will decide your next move.
Good luck Shannon
