Terms and Conditions

  1. Information on how to enter & prizes form part of these terms & conditions. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid.
  2. Entry is open to residents of Australia, 18 years of age or over.
  3. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, stepgrandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, stepsister or 1st cousin.
  4. Promotion commences 7.01am (AEST) on 1 May 2017 and ends at 1.00pm (AEST) on 29 September 2017 (“Promotional Period”).
  5. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
  6. The Promoter reserves the right to delete inappropriate or irrelevant questions, thus removing that user from the competition.
  7. Prize draw will take place via electronic medium at 2 p.m. AEST, on 29/09/2017 at simplyaskit, Suite 3, Level 2, 56 Berry Street North Sydney NSW 2060. The winners will be contacted via email and by telephone and post if necessary.
  8. In the event that the drawn winners details are incorrect simplyaskit reserves the right to re-draw the new winners on the prize draw day.
  9. The Prize
    • 1 x AUD$2,000 Cash
  10. The total maximum retail value of the Prize is AUD$2,000.
  11. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. The prize is not transferable to another person (unless agreed to by the Promoter) or exchangeable for other goods and services and cannot be redeemed for cash. Any element of a prize that is unused will be forfeited.
  12. Any costs in excess of the value of the prize (including GST) and all ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize are the responsibility of the winner. The Promoter shall not be liable for a prize that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way. Redemption of the prize is subject to any relevant terms and conditions of the prize provider (including those outlined above). No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
  13. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
  15. Any costs associated with accessing www.simplyaskit.com.au is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the internet service provider used. Any contact details entered incorrectly shall be deemed invalid.
  16. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to  the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating prize provider(s), if for any reason a winner does not, once the prize has been booked, take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
  17. Entrants confirm and promise that their entry is original and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
  18. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, image & photo entry in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
  19. Entrants further warrant and agree that:
    1. they will not submit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, derogatory, pornographic, sexually inappropriate, politically incorrect, violent, abusive, harassing, threatening, racist, ageist, sexist, objectionable with respect to religion, origin or gender, unsuitable for persons under the age of 18 years, or otherwise unsuitable for publication;
    2. all of the content has been personally created by them, and does not breach any intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights of any third party;
    3. they have full authority to grant the Promoter the rights referred to in these Terms & Conditions; and
    4. they will indemnify the Promoter against all loss, damage and liabilities arising from a breach of any of the warranties in these Terms & Conditions.
  20. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information, either caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated or utilised in this competition, or by any technical error that may occur in the course of administration of this competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
  21. By submitting personal information to us, and/or entering the Promotion, you agree that the Promoter, Promoters Agencies and sponsors (“we” or “us”) may collect, use and disclose such personal information in accordance with these terms & conditions, our privacy policies and as permitted or required by law. You consent to us providing you with additional communications, information and promotions. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, do not enter the promotion and do not provide any personal information to us. If you refuse or withdraw your consent, or if you choose not to provide us with any of the required personal information, we may not be able to enter you into the promotion.
  22. The Promoter collects information about entrants to include them in the promotion and, where appropriate, to award Prizes.
  23. Entrants also consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s personal information to conduct marketing activities including informing entrants about the Promoter’s products and services and other promotions, (including via post, phone, email and SMS)
  24. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
  25. These Terms and Conditions should be read in conjunction with the “General Terms and Conditions” and “Privacy Policy” of simplyaskit. The promoter is Eccho Group Pty Ltd trading as simplyaskit ABN 21 607 588 689 of Suite 3, Level 2, 56 Berry Street North Sydney NSW 2060.
